Ceremony Sample two

Short & Sweet with Modern Aspects

Family and friends, we are gathered here today to witness and celebrate the joining of ______ and ______ in marriage. With love and commitment, they have decided to live their lives together as husband and wife / wife and wife / husband and husband.

Marriage is the promise between two people who love each other, who trust in that love, who honour one another as individuals and wish to spend the rest of their lives together.

______ and ______, this ceremony will not create a relationship that does not already exist between you. It is a symbol of how far you have come. It is a symbol of the promises you will make to each other to continue growing stronger as individuals and as partners, no matter what challenges or successes you encounter together in the years before you. Today, your lives, which began on separate paths, will be joined as one.

READING

"Gravitation cannot be held responsible for people falling in love. How on earth can you explain in terms of chemistry and physics so important a biological phenomenon as first love? Put your hand on a stove for a minute and it seems like an hour. Sit with that special girl for an hour and it seems like a minute. That's relativity." - Albert Einstein
